Reviewer Quality Assurance

At UDC, quality and accuracy are at the core of every review. All medical reviewers undergo a comprehensive credentialing process conducted by both UDC and an external NCQA-approved Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) to verify education, training, licensure, board certification, professional qualifications, and practice history.

All physician reviewers are required to maintain active medical licensure, board certification, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements to ensure current clinical knowledge and expertise.

Quality Assurance Process

  • Every referral is carefully triaged to the most appropriate specialty and reviewer based on the clinical issues presented.

  • Draft reports undergo a thorough quality review to ensure completeness, consistency, and adherence to client requirements.

  • Any quality concerns are promptly addressed with the reviewing physician before the report is finalized.

  • Each reviewer personally edits and electronically signs their report and retains full responsibility for its content and medical opinions.

  • UDC utilizes proprietary case management technology to streamline workflow, monitor turnaround times, and maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
